Daphne mucronata

Family: Thymelaeaceae

Description: An evergreen shrub common in Northern Balochistan.

A poisonous but very useful plant. The alcoholic extracts of this plant have shown promising results in reducing the breast tumor size in rats.

Location: Sangar District Sherani. 1600 m.
